Working in Teams

I have attended Professional Development seminars and activities on a wide range of topics, including:
	An introduction to CAS (Computer Algebra Systems) calculators, held at Luther College, August 2008 Professional Development Week, June 2008, Burwood Sessions included: Report Writing, Best out of Boys, Restorative Justice, Code of Conduct and Special Needs Professional Standards Project – Languages Professional Learning Program, accessed via the Modern Language Teachers Association of Victoria, May 2008 ‘Interactive Whiteboards in the Maths classroom’ and ‘Interactive Whiteboards in the LOTE classroom’, Sh@re Community Campus, Firbank Grammar, May 2008 Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowship - Indonesian Language and Culture Program, Charles Darwin University, Darwin, 2007
I am also a current and active member of the following subject associations:
	Modern Language Teachers Association of Victoria Victorian Indonesian Teachers Association Mathematics Association of Victoria
In addition to my own growth as a teacher, I have enjoyed a number of opportunities to contribute to the growth of others through:
	Professional Development Week, June 2008 I was a member of the organising committee, responsible for researching and booking presenters, registering participants, venue organisation and running of PD sessions. This event was highly successful, and was considered useful by the majority of participants (student teachers). Chalkies – Deakin University Education Students Society From 2005 to 2007 I was an executive committee member of Chalkies, a club which planned, organised and ran Professional Development events for education students.
